Midday Supervisor- Immediate start
Hours: Monday- Friday 12.00-1.00pm (5hours)
PCD3 £24,796 (A) pro-rata (£12.85 hourly rate) term time
Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026 (due to rise and fall in pupil numbers)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team. This role is to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjo ment for our children during lunchtime. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in creating a positive and active playground experience, promoting healthy play and social interaction.
Job description:
To support the serving of meals, which are supplied by an outside caterer.
To undertake general cleaning duties e.g. wiping tables.
To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to, at all times.
To participate in training and development.
To supervise students during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
To support and encourage inclusive and active participation in playtime activities.
To foster a positive and respectful environment, managing behaviour in accordance with school policies.
The successful candidate will:
Be happy and proactive in engaging children in play.
Have a positive and purposeful approach.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be able to manage incidents of non-compliance and playground issues in a sensitive and effective way.
Be flexible and have a sense of humour.
Have a basic understanding of food hygiene would be advantageous, although training would be given.
