27.5 hours per week, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday, 8:50am – 3:20pm)
Grade 5 £25,989 pa (pro rata) £13.47 per hour
Milnthorpe Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and experienced team. This role will primarily involve providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Key Stage 2.
Due to current budget constraints, this post is offered initially on a fixed-term basis for two terms, starting in January 2026.
The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate a nurturing and patient approach, with high expectations of themselves and others.
• Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Be confident in using positive behaviour management strategies.
• Be able to deliver activities to individuals and small groups.
• Promote an inclusive ethos across the whole school.
