Our garden waste collection service applies to the whole Westmorland and Furness area.
Replacement garden waste bins
We can only empty garden waste bins that we have provided. We cannot collect waste from any other container.
If you have a garden waste collection subscription, you can request a replacement if your bin is:
- lost
- stolen
- damaged

Garden waste bin replacements in the Eden area
If you live in the Eden area you can ask for replacement garden waste bins by:
- completing our online form to request bags, boxes and bins in the Eden area
- contacting us by email or telephone – our contact details are at the end of this page
Garden waste bin replacements in Barrow and South Lakeland
You can request replacements by telephone or email, using the details at the end of this page.
Extra garden waste bins
If you’re already subscribed with a bin and need more, you can subscribe for extra garden waste bins.
You’ll need one subscription per bin. The costs are:
- a one-off fee of £25 per bin
- a collection service fee which is £60 per bin, per year
We’ll issue your extra bin (or bins) within ten working days of your payment.
Composting
If you have a large amount of garden waste, you could consider composting at home instead of buying subscriptions for extra bins.
