Boatman's licence application form for the Barrow area (DOCX , 81KB)
You need to include the following items with your application:
- qualifications: Powerboat Level 2 Certificate, and a Certificate from RYA or NCA showing valid Commercial Endorsement (certificate with photo ID)
- a Basic Sea Survival Certificate, or Certificate of Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques
- a risk assessment
- a ML5 medical report form and certificate (GOV.UK)
- the application fee
Pleasure or ferry licence
Pleasure or Ferry Boat Licence application form for the Barrow area (DOCX , 67KB)
You must include the following in your application:
- proof that you have boat insurance
- proof that you hold public liability insurance
- a boat inspection report
- a risk assessment
- a photo of the boat
