Gambling licences and permits

Apply for a premises licence

To apply, fill in the relevant premises licences, permits and registering application form – all are listed on the Gambling Commission website. A personal licence must be held by the person who manages the premises.

You should return your form and any other relevant document plus your fee to the licensing group for your area.

Premises licence fees

All fees relating to the Gambling Act 2005 are available to view in spreadsheet format.

We also charge the following fees:

  • notification of a gaming machine permit in a licensed premises: £50
  • notification of club gaming machine permit: £50
  • all premises fee for copy of licence: £16.20
  • fee to accompany notification of change of circumstances: £40.20
