PCD3 (A) £24,027 per annum pro rata (plus the living wage supplement hourly rate £12.60)

Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team from September 2025. This role is to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment for our children during lunchtime. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in creating a positive and active playground experience, promoting healthy play and social interaction.
Job description:
To support the serving of meals ensuring correct portion control.
To undertake general cleaning duties e.g. wiping tables.
To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to, at all times.
To participate in training and development.
To supervise students during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
To organise and lead a variety of play activities and games, encouraging inclusive and active participation
To foster a positive and respectful environment, managing behaviour in accordance with school policies.
The successful candidate will:
Be happy and proactive in engaging children in play.
Have a positive and purposeful approach.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Be able to work with a variety of age groups.
Be able to manage incidents of non-compliance and playground issues in a sensitive and effective way.
Be flexible and have a sense of humour.
Have a basic understanding of food hygiene would be advantageous, although training would be given.
