Required for immediate start
The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint one Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. We want a friendly team player with high expectations to join our enthusiastic, hardworking team. Under the direction of teachers/senior staff, tasks include supporting children 1-1 and providing active break times. There will also be some general classroom-based tasks alongside the main duties.
PCD5 - Grade 5, SCP6 - £13.05 per hour- 13 hrs per week, All day Thursday and Friday. term time
Essential Attributes
• Is hard-working, has high standards and enjoys the challenge of working in a small school environment.
• Level 3 Qualification – Teaching Assistant
• Experience of working with small groups or individual children.
• Understands the importance of play-based learning.
• Team member, but also to show initiative when required.
• Is knowledgeable and organised.
• Is helpful, understanding, calm and consistent in their standards and behaviour.
• Is flexible, enjoys sharing ideas and understands the importance of collaboration.
• Will promote the school's chosen Christian values and has an understanding of their importance in Church Schools.
• Has experience working in classrooms.
Desirable Attributes
• Has an interest in developing learning through outdoor play.
• Has an interest in providing quality 1-1 intervention and support.
