Janitor (Cross-Trust Role)

SCMAT is looking for a dedicated Janitor to help keep our schools safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.
We have six schools across Barrow-in-Furness. The postholder will be directed to work across the Trust at multiple school sites and/or be allocated to a specific school as determined by the Estates and Compliance Manager.

Salary: P3-P4: £24,796 to £25,185 FTE
Term Time Only + Inset Days.
37 hours per week. 

In this key role, you’ll:
•    Keep our premises clean and tidy
•    Carry out basic maintenance and handyperson tasks
•    Support site security
•    Assist with school activities and lettings
•    Respond flexibly to day-to-day needs and emergencies
