Senior Teaching Assistant – Maternity Cover
Fixed Term, Part Time Senior Teaching Assistant for our Reception Class (Maternity cover)

30 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8.45am – 3.30pm. Friday 8.45am – 2.15pm

PCD7 £28,598 (A) £14.82 pro rata term time only.  Easter start (or as soon as possible thereafter (12-month contract – Easter 2027)

The Governors at Dane Ghyll Community Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint a dedicated Senior Teaching Assistant to work in our Reception Class.

We are looking for a highly motivated STA who is;
•    Self-motivated and reliable
•    Caring nurturing patient and have high expectations of themselves and others
•    Able to effortlessly build rapport with children
•    Knowledge pf EYFS and phonics
•    Able to demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills
•    Able to organise and lead activities with individuals, groups and the whole class
•    Able to promote an inclusive whole school ethos
•    Able to work closely with experienced teachers to promote pupil progress
•    Positive and Enthusiastic

The successful candidate will work alongside highly motivated and experienced teachers to support the learning and development of all children.
