NMW rate for an Apprentice £8.00 p/h during first year
NMW for remainder of apprenticeship  

38 working weeks plus holiday entitlement.

Required from 13th April 2026 for the duration of the Apprenticeship Qualification.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Class Team at Kendal Nursery School.  The Governors wish to appoint a friendly and approachable member of staff who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning whilst gaining a level 2 qualification. This vacancy will be working in one of our classrooms alongside experienced classroom professionals.

Hours of work will be approximately 37 each week between 8am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with one day of learning online.

Visits to the school are welcomed by prior arrangement with the Headteacher.
