Year 5/6 Teacher – Fixed Term until 31st August 2026

Salary: MPR/UPR (depending on experience)
Part time – 0.8fte  Monday - Thursday

Penruddock Primary School is a small, welcoming rural primary school with a strong sense of community and high aspirations for all pupils.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to teach our mixed Year 5/6 class. This is a fixed-term post to support our staffing structure during a period of transition.

Our Year 5/6 class is a small cohort of 21 pupils. The successful candidate will:

•    Be an excellent and caring classroom practitioner.
•    Have high expectations for all learners
•    Inspire and nurture pupils to achieve their full potential.
•    Be confident teaching upper Key Stage 2
•    Deliver strong, well-sequenced English and maths teaching
•    Provide calm, consistent classroom leadership
•    Work collaboratively within a small staff team
