Appointment advert for the position of Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary scale:  MPR pro rata

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flourishing and popular rural school.  We are recruiting a role which is to cover maternity starting 1st September 2026.

0.6 teaching plus PPA temporary maternity cover.  

Job share considered.  There may also be an opportunity to work an additional day every other week.

We are looking for a dedicated and inspirational teacher who can work well with others to be part of our successful school team. We are looking for candidates who are able to work across the age range, however, applicants should state their preference in an accompanying letter. The decision as to which class the successful applicant will be assigned will be made after appointment.
