Ghyllside Primary School is a vibrant two form entry primary situated in the South West of Kendal that prides itself on its holistic approach to providing an education that prepares children to be able to lead happy, independent lives in the 21st century.  The Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our successful, well established school team. The position is in our Key Stage 2 Team.

We are looking for someone who has:

•    QTS and proven successful experience of teaching children in KS2
•    Enthusiasm, energy and a commitment to ensuring children achieve their potential and more
•    The ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues
•    Experience of effectively deploying classroom support 
•    A positive and inclusive approach towards behaviour management and SEND
•    A willingness to be involved in the wider life of the school and the extracurricular opportunities we offer our children
