Class Teacher

Class Teacher (maternity cover, full time, academic year)

Role start date: September 2026

Work pattern: Full-time (part time job shares considered)

Teaching in either EYFS class or KS1 class, dependent on expertise.

Grasmere School is a happy, successful small school. We’re looking for someone to join us for a year, covering a maternity leave. The right person may be a teacher with many years of experience (particularly in Early Years and KS1) or may be looking for their first teaching role. As a team we have strength across the age-ranges, and work closely together to teach all the children in our care.  

We’re looking for someone who really enjoys teaching, and who is an excellent teacher.
