Permanent Part-time Lunchtime Assistant 

Start date: June 2026

9.17 hours per week (term time only)  
11.10am to 13.00pm Monday – Friday

Salary: PCD3  £24,796 (A) per annum pro rata ( plus the living wage supplement – hourly rate £13.45)

Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic lunchtime assistant to join our team from June 2026. 

Job description:
•    To set up the lunch hall, moving tables, chairs. 
•    Collect lunch by car locally – full clean driving licence and own car is needed (insurance provided).
•    Serving of meals ensuring correct portion control.
•    To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to.
•    Supervising all students during lunch breaks while eating. 
•    Cleaning of the lunch hall/kitchen area e.g., wiping tables, sweeping floor and cleaning utensils. 
•    To return all plates and serving equipment via car. 

This role is permanent and subject to a probationary period.
