Catering Assistant – Permanent Part Time 7.5 hours per week term time 

Required September 2026

Salary: OP3 £25,949 per annum, pro rata, (this includes the living wage supplement - hourly rate £13.45)  term time, equating to £13.45/hour. The successful applicant will also be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The Governors of Penruddock Primary School are looking for an assistant to join our happy and successful team.

We wish to appoint an assistant to serve our high quality healthy and nutritious meals for our pupils. The successful candidate will have Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergens qualifications as a minimum, and we can support this training if necessary.

You will be responsible for the service and clearing of approx. 30 meals each day. Setting up the dining hall and clearing after service.
