Senior Teaching Assistant Pay Scale PCD 7 £28,598 (A) per annum, pro rata £14.82
Teaching Assistant Pay Scale PCD 5 £25,989 per annum, pro rata £13.47
The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Paul’s C of E Junior School wish to appoint an inspirational, compassionate and flexible Senior Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, hard-working team.
St. Paul’s C.E. Junior School is an inclusive, supportive school and our dedicated team believe in providing the children with a wealth of learning opportunities designed to nurture the whole child. We are looking for a candidate who:
• Has good communication skills.
• Has compassion and sensitivity towards children.
• Has knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Has relevant experience and qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent QCF for Teaching Assistant/ NVQ Level 3 or equivalent QCF for Senior Teaching Assistant) to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Has experience of contributing to the planning of work and adaptation of resources to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Is able to adapt to what the situation requires.
• Is able to work as part of a team.
• Has a passion for children’s wellbeing and learning.
• Values a holistic approach to children’s learning.
