Year 5 Class Teacher - Fixed term due to maternity cover 

Required September 2026

The Governing Body of this thriving Church of England primary school are looking for a teacher who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and learning. 

The role offers variety and the successful candidate would be working as part of our staff team on a full-time basis.  The role could give the opportunity to work as part of Orcina funded projects, if experience was suitable.

The staff and children would like a candidate who will:
Plan and deliver exciting learning opportunities
Strive to raise standards for all children
Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of the early years curriculum, including recent experience of teaching within Early Years
Have excellent knowledge and understanding of formative and summative assessment
Understand the new writing framework and be enthusiastic about taking part in training
Understand and be familiar with White Rose for maths
Be able to work effectively in our friendly, supportive team
Be able to maintain a lively but organised learning environment
