Working Pattern: 0.6 pro rata (three full days)
The Governors and Headteacher of Beetham CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Class Teacher to join our team from September 2026.
This role, based initially within a mixed EYFS and Key Stage 1 class including our 2-year-old provision, offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to children’s earliest stages of learning and development within a nurturing and supportive school community. This role is particularly well suited to a teacher at the beginning of their career, offering strong support and opportunities to develop confidence and expertise.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Has a secure and developing understanding of early years and primary education
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences
• Has recent experience of teaching an EYFS class.
• Is passionate about giving children the best possible start to their learning journey
• Creates a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Will actively uphold and promote our ethos and values, ensuring they are lived out through high-quality teaching, relationships and the wider life of the school.
• Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and well being
