KS2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Due to a forthcoming Maternity leave, the Governors of our Academy are seeking to appoint a Full time, Temporary Teacher for Year 4, from September 2026.

As the classroom teacher you will be responsible for delivering learning in accordance with our curriculum, national guidelines, and the school’s strategy. You will also be required to carry out other duties that support pupils’ learning, while operating in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures. You will be responsible for teaching a class of approximately 20 Year 4 children.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged and can be arranged via the School Office (01524 781627).
The Head Teacher will be available on the following dates/times to meet you and show you around:

Monday 15th June @ 1:15pm and 2:15pm
Tuesday 16th June @ 9:45am
Wednesday 17th June @ 11:00am and 1:30pm

Application deadline – Friday 19th June @ 12noon

This is a temporary, fixed term, post to cover maternity leave. 

The position is expected to last until 31.8.27; however, the post will end automatically on the return of the substantiative post holder. It may therefore finish earlier, or later, depending on the length of their absence.
