Permanent positions 
30 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 weeks additional hours
SALARY SCALE PCD5 £25,989 (equating to £18,508 per annum pro rata)

We are a community school with around 880 students aged 11-16 years on roll. Situated in the historic town of Dalton in Furness, we enjoy being on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. As an Ofsted rated ‘good’ school, we believe in high expectations, excellent teaching and ambition for every young person.

We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support students, teachers, the school and the curriculum to ensure that students achieve their very best. To deliver a range of learning/skills and/or personal/practical support to meet needs and/or well-being for individuals and/or groups.

We would welcome applications from people who have: 
•    Relevant NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification or two years full-time or four years part-time working as a Teaching Assistant 
•    GCSE or equivalent numeracy and literacy
•    Experience of communication effectively at all levels
•    Experience of self-evaluating own learning needs and seeking learning opportunities
•    Working knowledge of national and foundation stage curriculum and other relevant learning programmes and strategies
