Wrap–Around Care Supervisor
Permanent ,  Part-time, term time only
Salary: PCD 5 – £25,989 pro rata
Start date: September 2026

About the role
Due to increasing demand and our current after-school provision being full, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Wrap–Around Care Supervisor
to establish and lead provision for our Nursery and Reception children.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality, play-based environment tailored to our youngest pupils, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and engaged at the end of the school day.
Initially, the provision will run:
•    Monday – Thursday: 3:15pm – 6:00pm
•    Friday: 3:15pm – 5:00pm
There may be future opportunities to develop a Breakfast Club, although this is not essential to the role.

What the role involves
As Wraparound Care Leader, you will:
•    Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the EYFS after-school provision
•    Plan and deliver a balance of structured activities and child-led play opportunities, supporting children’s interests and development
•    Prepare and provide healthy snacks for children
•    Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment
•    Build strong relationships with children, families and staff
•    Follow school policies on behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion
•    Complete administrative tasks (e.g. registers, incident logs)
•    Ensure equipment is set up and stored safely
•    Provide first aid where required (training can be given)
•    Potentially supervise additional staff as the provision grows

What we are looking for
We are seeking someone who:
•    Holds a full and relevant EYFS Level 3 qualification (essential)
•    Has experience working with Nursery and/or Reception-aged children
•    Has a secure understanding of early years development and play-based learning
•    Is passionate about creating engaging, child-centred provision
•    Can plan creative, inclusive and flexible activities
•    Has excellent communication and organisational skills
•    Is able to work independently and take initiative
•    Brings energy, warmth, patience and a sense of humour
Experience of working with children with additional needs, or knowledge of outdoor/OPAL-style play, would be beneficial but is not essential.

Our provision
Children attending the club will have access to:
•    A healthy snack
•    A range of engaging, planned or themed activities
•    Opportunities for free-choice play and relaxation
•    Indoor and outdoor play experiences where possible
We aim to provide a calm, enjoyable end to the school day, reflecting our school’s ethos and values.

What we offer
In return, we offer:
•    A welcoming, inclusive school where respect and kindness underpin everything we do
•    Happy, engaged children who value play and relationships
•    A supportive and dedicated staff team
•    The opportunity to develop and shape new provision
•    Access to relevant training and professional development
