Are you passionate about ensuring high standards of governance and compliance in education? Are you ready for a key role in supporting the effective running of a multi-academy trust and its network of schools?
The Good Shepherd Multi Academy Trust is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Governance and Compliance Lead to join our team. In this strategic role, you’ll lead on all aspects of governance and regulatory compliance across our Trust, supporting board and committee effectiveness, and ensuring we meet all statutory obligations.
In this pivotal role, you will:
• Maintain statutory records and compliance tracking.
• Keeping Trust policies up to date and ensuring effective implementation
• Lead and deliver the Trust’s governance and compliance action plan.
• Oversee the Trust’s governance documents and risk management.
• Provide expert clerking support to the Trust Board and its committees.
• Act as the primary liaison between school and Trust leaders, trustees, and members.
• Support trust-wide initiatives and provide a professional reception for our Central Team Offices
You will be an organised, proactive professional with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to governance excellence. Previous experience in governance, compliance or clerking role is essential.
