At Ireleth St Peter’s CE Primary School, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated EYFS teacher to join our wonderful school family. This unique opportunity also includes the possibility of becoming our Orcina Early Years Lead, helping to drive forward innovative Early Years development work through our partnership projects.

This role is fixed term (initially to 31st March 2027) due to an ongoing staffing restructure and will involve teaching within our warm and welcoming Nursery and Reception provision for 3 days per week (0.6 FTE).

The successful candidate will:
•    Teach within our Nursery and Reception provision for 3 days each week
•    Create a stimulating, nurturing and language-rich Early Years environment
•    Champion high-quality provision and outcomes for all children
•    Support the continued development of our EYFS curriculum and provision
•    Support in the development of Orcina Early Years projects and initiatives across school
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external partners
•    Foster strong relationships built on care, respect and high expectations

We are looking for someone who:
•    Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for Early Years education
•    Has strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework
•    Understands the importance of play, language and early communication
•    Has high expectations for all children
•    Is passionate about inclusion and ensuring every child, including those with SEND and additional needs, is supported, challenged and empowered to flourish both academically and personally.
•    Is creative, enthusiastic and reflective
•    Works well as part of a team
•    Will fully support the Christian ethos and values of our school
