Calthwaite CofE Primary School are delighted to announce that we are starting our own After School Club, this will commence September 2026, and we are looking to recruit permanent members of staff to join our team.

 What we are looking for: 

Enthusiasm and willingness to create a fun after school environment where children can learn through play, organise a variety of activities to suit a range of ages. 

What you will need:
•    A relevant NVQ qualification level 3 and experience of working with children in a similar setting. 
•    Paediatrics First Aid certificate (training can be provided)
•    Safeguarding training (can be provided) 
•    The skills to communicate with adults at collection; handing over & taking messages. 
•    Technology skills to use an iPad for taking registers, logging accidents / incidents and taking photo’s. 
•    The adaptability to supervise a variety of activities to suit different age groups.

About the roles:
We are looking for a number of roles; After School club assistants and an After School Club Lead. We would consider part time or a job share for the right candidates. 

After School Club Lead
PCD8i  £32,061 pro rata  £16.62 per hour 
3:15pm – 5:30pm term time only 

After School Club Assistant
PCD3 £24,796 pro rata £12.85 per hour
3:30pm – 5:30pm term time only
