Permanent Nursery Assistant (Baby Room) to support lunchtimes

10 hours Monday – Friday 11.30am – 1.30pm (term time only) Start date 2nd November 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

PCD5 £25,989 (pro rata) (£13.47 per hour)

Dane Ghyll Nursery seek a Nursery Assistant with initiative and a caring, positive and flexible approach is required. The post will involve working closely in a team, supporting and providing individual care for pupils with a range of needs.

Essentials • Is a committed, enthusiastic and has a passion for working with children

• Experience of working in this age range • Works well as part of a team • Be a committed team member • Able to take the initiative and make decisions. Desirables • Confidence in dealing with children.
• NVQ level 2 • Understanding of Safeguarding in School; Health and Safety; Data Protection; Confidentiality issues • Will support all staff to create stimulating learning environments
