After School Club Lead - Permanent

11.25 hours per week over 5 days - hours 3.15pm – 5.30pm
£13.77 per hour £25,989 pro rata

Term time only (38 weeks) to start as soon as possible.

Salary Scale point 5 SCR 6 

The Local Governing Body of Lazonby School invite applications from an appropriately qualified person for this permanent After School Club Lead, 

You will: 
•    have a relevant NVQ level 3 qualification and relevant experience of working with children in a school and/or care setting.
•    a current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate, food hygiene certificate, and safeguarding level 1 training - or willingness to work towards these.
•    Knowledge and willingness to engage children in learning through play, setting up activities, and helping children complete homework.
•    Be able to communicate at all levels and relate well to children and adults and establish a good rapport with pupils and their parents.
