We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and energetic colleagues to join our dedicated team here at Sir John Barrow Primary School. This opportunity is suitable for someone who enjoys supporting children and wants to be part of making lunchtimes at SJB fun, happy and safe. We are looking for someone who is kind and caring but also someone who will be committed to ensuring high levels of care for the children and maintaining excellent levels of behaviour.

We are a ‘Gold Standard’ OPAL school who’s lunchtime play provision has been audited and found to be at the very highest standard! The successful applicants do not need to have had experience of working in an OPAL setting before but they must be ready and prepared to participate in the training to allow them to continue our fantastic provision here at school.

SJB had a very successful Ofsted inspection in March 2023, judged as ‘outstanding’ in all areas. Our school vision links our aspirations for the children, as learners, with a hope to inspire a love of lifelong learning.
