Toddler Room Lead
Contract: Fixed-term to 31st August 2027 due to staffing structure 
Work pattern: Full-time, 39.5 hours per week, term time.

39.5 core hours Monday – Friday (hours between 7.30 and 5.30pm (term time only) Start date 2nd November 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

PCD7 £29,542 (A) per annum pro rata (£15.31 per hour).

Croftlands Schools Federation seek a Toddler Room Lead to work with our friendly nursery team.  They must have initiative and a caring, positive and flexible approach.  As Room Lead, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room, working closely with your team to provide high-quality care and learning experiences for our children.  You will be flexible and provide support throughout the 2 and 2 – 3 year olds room as required.   You will build warm and positive relationships with children and their families, supporting their individual needs, interests and development. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to confidently create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.  You will be patient, calm and understanding, friendly, approachable and positive.   You will support your team to maintain a highly professional and high-quality provision.  You will collaborate with our Nursery Manager, Baby Room Lead and wider team.

ESSENTIAL - 
•    Level 3 Early Years qualification 
•    Knowledge and understanding of current Safeguarding legislation and practices
•    Knowledge and understanding of current EYFS Statutory Framework
•    An attitude of the highest integrity and professionalism
•    Paediatric First Aid certificate
•    A committed, reliable team member
•    Experience working with children aged under 2 to 3
•    A good understanding of the EYFS and children's individual development needs
•    A commitment to maintaining high standards of care, learning and safety
