Road studs, also known as cat's eyes, help improve visibility, particularly at night and in poor weather.

How we assess reports
Please tell us:
- the location of the damaged or missing cat's eyes
- number of road studs affected
- photographs where possible

An emergency on the highway is defined as something that is very likely to present an imminent threat to life, serious injury or serious damage to property. Our team will assess the severity of your report and escalate accordingly.

We will usually investigate where:
- multiple studs are missing
- studs are damaged
- visibility is significantly affected
- road safety may be compromised

We will inspect the location and prioritise repairs where safety may be affected.
