Apply for an advisory disabled parking bay

How to apply for an advisory disabled parking bay. Including who can use a bay, what information you'll need to give us, what happens after we receive your form, unsuccessful applications, how to appeal a decision and how to let us know about an unused parking bay.

If you are disabled or caring for somebody with a disability you can apply for an advisory disabled parking bay.

The number of parking bays that can be provided in any year is limited by the funding available meaning your application might not be processed this financial year. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

Your application might not be successful if:

  • there is adequate off-street parking at your house or near your house
  • there is disk parking outside your home
  • there are double yellow lines outside your home
  • the vehicle parking the bay isn't registered to the property
