The area comprises a network of public footpaths, species-rich grassland meadows, and woodland habitats, providing an important recreational and wildlife resource for the community.
The Council is committed to protecting and enhancing the Fell's unique landscape and biodiversity. The Kendal Fell and Golf Course Management Plan (PDF, 133MB) sets out the long-term vision, management objectives, and ongoing maintenance activities designed to conserve and improve this valued green space.
