Cumbria development design guide
The purpose of this guide is to provide advice and guidance on the design elements that combine to create successful residential and commercial developments in Cumbria.
The Cumbria Development Design Guide takes into account recent national standards and include guidance in relation to Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) as well as detailed guidance in relation to highways, rather than having two separate guidance documents.
This guide is for:
- developers, landowners and property managers
- architects, engineers, surveyors and designers
- Local Planning Authorities
- all others involved in the design and construction of new residential and commercial developments in Cumbria
