Equality monitoring

Find out more about the information we may seek to strengthen our knowledge about our service users and residents.

One of our EDI action plan themes is strengthening the knowledge we have about our individual service users and residents.

While sharing information about protected characteristics is not a requirement, having this information gives us more understanding of the experience and outcomes different groups of people have of our services, meaning we are better able to identify and tackle any inequalities. It also makes it easier for us to work with individuals to develop services that are appropriate to them.

We expect to start a piece of work looking at data collecting and monitoring we do in Summer 2024.

This page will be updated as that work progresses, including with guidance for service users and residents once it has been developed. Similar work is also taking place in relation to our workforce.
