The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Partnership Network in is a collective group of third sector and community organisations. 

Although we convene the DEI Partnership, it's an independent entity. We work with the group, along with communities and other stakeholders.

The group is passionate about working together to:

  • advance equity
  • celebrate diversity
  • promote inclusion

Our vision

Our shared vision is to make Westmorland and Furness a place where everyone's welcome to: 

  • live
  • learn
  • work
  • visit
  • conduct business

Our aims

To reduce inequality on the grounds of:

  • age
  • disability (including neurodiversity)
  • gender reassignment
  • marriage and civil partnership
  • pregnancy and maternity
  • race
  • religion or belief
  • sex
  • sexual orientation
