We're reviewing the following policies:
- Discounted Sale (under the Affordable Housing Scheme)
- Local Occupancy Restrictions (for ex-council houses that are subject to Section 157 of the Local Housing Act 1985)
Our current policies are based on our legacy council areas and are different across Eden and South Lakeland.
We are developing two new policies, which will standardise the regulations for the whole of Westmorland and Furness. This will ensure we have unified and consistent approach for everyone who lives in our area.
As part of our review, we're running a consultation for our new:
