The former MyAccounts for Barrow, Eden and South Lakeland councils will remain available for now but will not be updated and will eventually be phased out.
Current MyAccount services
While we're in the process of moving services to our new Westmorland and Furness MyAccount, you can continue to sign up and use current online services for the Barrow, Eden and South Lakeland councils.
By registering for current MyAccount services you can check your transactions with us and find useful information about your local area including:
- planning applications near you
- contact details of your local councillors
- if your house is in a national park or conservation area where different planning rules apply
You can securely access our services, including:
- pay for things like Council tax, business rates and parking penalty charge notices
- apply for new bins/recycling boxes and bags, assisted bin collections, to register to vote
- report issues like missed bins, graffiti, dog fouling and fly-tipping

Westmorland and Furness MyAccount early release
As part of the on-going work to merge the services delivered by the Barrow, Eden, and South Lakeland councils, we're continuing to transfer more online services in stages to the new MyAccount early release site.
In this early release you can:
- see collection calendars for your waste and recycling
- find your local councillor
- make a Highways Enquiry
- apply for the Crisis and Resilience Fund
- manage and subscribe to the Garden Waste Subscription service
As this is an early release, we'd welcome your feedback to help us improve the experience and shape future services.
