Beauty treatment registration in the Eden area

Register to carry out skin piercing beauty treatments such as tattooing, body piercing, electrolysis, acupuncture and semi-permanent skin colour.

We register and inspect all premises and persons carrying out acupuncture, tattooing, semi-permanent skin colouring, cosmetic piercing and electrolysis. We will investigate problems, or complaints relating to hygiene, health, or safety.

In July 2022, we adopted our combined Byelaws for Acupuncture, Tattooing, Semi-Permanent Skin-Colouring, Cosmetic Piercing and Electrolysis (PDF , 147KB)

These combined byelaws replace the individual bylaws we adopted on 3 July 1986.
