Notice is given that Westmorland and Furness Council has received notification from Lancaster Magistrates Court on 4 May 2023 that an Illegal Working Compliance Order under the Immigration Act 2016 Schedule 6 has been issued in respect of the Taj Mahal, 56 Cavendish Street, Barrow.
As a result, Westmorland and Furness Council has initiated a review of the premises licence.
Any person wishing to make representation in respect of this matter must do so in writing, clearly stating their reasons between 5 May 2023 and 11 May 2023. Representations should relate to one or more of the licensing objectives and be sent to:
