Inspections carried out by Westmorland and Furness Council have found no presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in any of the 70 schools where the council has responsibility for maintenance.
In comparison to the previous year, early indications suggest average Level 3 results have fallen slightly. Yet, they are higher compared to pre-COVID results in 2019 for all measures collected.
Sixth form and college students across the Westmorland and Furness area are set to receive their A level and Tech level results today (Thursday 17 August).
