The governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Windermere are looking to appoint an experienced teacher to teach in EYFS and KS1

Contract: 0.6, Fixed Term, Maternity Cover. 

Required start: September 2024 until May 2025 

St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Mater Christi Multi Academy Trust. We are looking to appoint an experienced teacher who is dynamic, imaginative, creative and innovative to teach in Nursery, Reception and KS1. ECT’s may be considered. This will be offered on a 0.6 fixed term basis. We are a successful and happy school with well-behaved and highly motivated children who, alongside incredibly supportive colleagues, parents and governors, would make you feel very welcome here.  We have high expectations and we want someone who is going to take a real pride in their work and love being part of our school family.

Essential Qualifications
•    Qualified Teacher Status
•    Degree

Desirable Qualifications
•    'Paediatric First Aid/First Aid certificate'
•    Catholic Teaching Certificate

Essential Experience
•    Teaching experience in EYFS and/or KS1
•    Has successfully completed the NQT/ECT programme 
•    Leading one or more curriculum areas, demonstrating strong subject leadership (in particularly in English and Reading)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher wanting to progress in their career. Please highlight any subject specialisms in your letter of application. A sound knowledge of English/phonics and early reading would be an advantage. However full training for our current phonics scheme will be given.
