SEND Teaching Assistant

One Fixed Term SEND Teaching Assistant - 32 hours per week - EHCP hours dependant and for the duration of a named child’s attendance at our school. (This role will also be considered as a job share therefore we would like to hear from you if you have the experience, the drive and the passion to support children in their journey to learn and grow.)

The Governors of Cartmel CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic professional with commitment to join the team at our successful school from 2nd September 2024. 

 
Applications welcome from teaching assistants with high standards and good communication skills, to work with a child with additional needs. 
  
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate: 
• evidence of ability to support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a one to one basis 

• an understanding of the needs of children with additional needs 
a degree or relevant qualification 
• evidence of the ability to work closely with colleagues 
• a willingness to work flexibly, in both the classroom and the wider school, as a hard-working member of a committed staff team 
 

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake enhanced DBS check, including barred list check and references.
