The Governors of St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Barrow in Furness are looking to appoint a Subject Leader for English.

St Bernard’s is a successful Catholic comprehensive school and part of the Diocese of Lancaster, serving the community of
Furness and is on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
We are seeking to appoint a permanent, enthusiastic and highly motivated Subject Leader for English to join our school as soon as possible. The candidate should be an exceptional Subject Leader for English with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. We have a well resourced English department and have close links to our schools within the Trust. Candidates are welcome to visit our school before applying.
