South Walney Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a SENDCO.

We are looking for candidates that:

•    Can demonstrate a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs and working in partnership with SLT to improve the quality of teaching, learning and curriculum across the school.
•    Can work across the whole school from EYFS to Year 2, supporting and promoting the educational needs provision within school.
•    Are forward thinking, passionate about the role and are ready to inspire our staff and children to ensure every child fulfils their potential.
•    Have a sound knowledge of the latest thinking in SEND policy, leadership and practice.
•    Have or are prepared to work towards the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinator/ NPQH Senco.
•    Can manage, organise and inspire a team of support staff.
•    Can form strong professional relationships with outside agencies and parents/carers.
