Fixed term, part-time.

The children, staff and governors of St James’ CE Junior School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant / Senior Teaching Assistant (grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications) to start September 2025 on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026 with the possibility of being extended depending on funding.

This role is part-time and consist of working from 9am-3pm, term time only.

You will be working in KS2, supporting children with their learning and emotional needs providing tailored interventions, as required, enabling children to achieve their full learning potential.

The successful candidate will:
•    Maintain and ensure high expectations of learning and behaviour
•    Maintain the positive ethos and be willing to promote the Christian values of the school
•    Have the ability to engage and enthuse all children using a variety of approaches
•    Be able to develop excellent relationships with all members of our school community
