School Administrator
Permanent - Part-time: 32.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
BS6 – SCP7 - £25,584 (A) - £25,992 (B)  pro-rata (£13.26 hourly rate)*
*New increased support staff pay scales from 01/04/2025 yet to be applied.
Term time plus 2 weeks (1 week of INSET & 1 week of school holiday working).
Required to start on 1st July 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Due to the retirement of our existing School Administrator at the end of the Summer term, the Governors of Barrow Island Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent School Administrator to join the school office team.

We are looking to recruit an organised, confident and approachable member of staff with excellent communication and administrative skills.

The role of the successful candidate will include:
•    Meeting and greeting pupils and all visitors at the main school office and dealing with queries.
•    Various forms of communication with parents/carers, other schools and numerous professionals from outside agencies who support pupils and school. 
•    Maintaining confidentiality at all times, ensuring data and records are held securely.
•    Providing organisational and administrative support to other staff.
•    Supporting the School Business Manager with finance and procurement tasks.
