KS2 Class Teacher

Required for October 2025- October 2026

1 x KS2 Class Teacher - Fixed Term (1 year) contract

The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint one KS2 class teacher for October 2025 to cover maternity leave. 

We would like a friendly team player with high expectations to join our 
enthusiastic, hardworking team. 

Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Year Career Teachers.

Essential Attributes
• Is hard-working, has high standards and enjoys the challenge of working in a small 
school environment. 
• Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Is knowledgeable and organised.
• Is helpful, understanding, calm and consistent in their standards and behaviour.
• Is flexible, enjoys sharing ideas and understands the importance of collaboration. 
• Will promote the schools chosen Christian values and, has an understanding of the 
importance of them in Church Schools.
• Taught in mixed-aged classes. 

Desirable Attributes
• Has experience of teaching maths through mastery.
• Have used CUSP to deliver any aspect of the curriculum.
• Interest in music or PSHE
• Has taught in upper KS2 with some experience of Y6.
