The children, staff and Governing Body of Kirkby Stephen Primary School are seeking to appoint a teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2025. This position is being offered, in the first instance, on a fixed-term basis for one year but may be extended depending upon pupil numbers.  

The successful candidates will:
•    Have a passion for teaching and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how young children learn.
•    Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum.

Kirkby Stephen Primary School is a one form entry primary school for pupils aged 3-11 based in the small market town of Kirkby Stephen. We value working closely with the community to ensure the very best for our children and strive to make the most of our beautiful surroundings.
