Position: Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time considered for the right candidate

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: PCD5 £25,183 (pro rata) (£13.05 per hour)

Start Date: 9th June 2025, or as soon as possible after this date

Little VIPs at Lowther Endowed School is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and caring Level Three Childcare Practitioner to join our vibrant early years team. Based in the beautiful Eden Valley, our setting is proud to offer a nurturing, child-centred environment.

About the Role:
As a Level Three Childcare Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding early years education and care. You will plan and implement engaging activities, promote a safe and stimulating environment, and work in close partnership with parents and staff to support each child’s development.

Responsibilities:
•    Provide high-quality care and education for children aged from 9 months – 5 years
•    Observe, assess, and plan activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
•    Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
•    Maintain accurate records of children’s development and progress
•    Ensure the setting meets all safeguarding and health & safety requirements

Requirements:
•    A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
•    Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
•    Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
•    A warm, nurturing approach and a genuine passion for working with young children
•    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•    As with all such positions, this post is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS with Barred List check, and compliance with Safer Recruitment guidance.
