We are seeking to appoint a friendly, well organised and professional School Business Manager to join our dedicated and highly-motivated staff team. As well as the ability to carry out a wide range of tasks relevant to this diverse role, the successful candidate will need to be positive, self-reliant and flexible. The role includes working closely with the Headteacher; taking responsibility for financial management; as well as line-managing the school administrator. You will also work closely with all the school team, our families, wider agencies and visitors to school. Like all our staff, you will have a warm, caring nature and be passionate about supporting our pupils and their families.
The successful person will:
• take lead responsibility for all school financial business with the support of the office administrator;
• foster good relationships with all stakeholders involved in our school – staff, students, governors, parents and wider family members and visitors;
• be friendly and approachable for frontline reception duties, dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone and via email;
• be open to professional development opportunities and have high expectations of yourself.
